Meet our Penn manager

Hi, my name is Laura Bullen and I have worked in childcare for 24 years.

 

I have been with Seesaws since 2014 where I first worked at Merridale nursery as a qualified practitioner. I quickly became part of the management team working as a Third in Charge, with particular responsibility for Pre-school and Safeguarding. I was lucky enough then to be promoted to Nursery Manager at the Penn branch, where I feel I have grown and developed my role and I have become part of the Seesaws forever growing family. I love what I do as I am a passionate person who strives towards always doing the best I can, and being a local girl am proud to enable Seesaws to develop it's role within the community.

I endeavour to ensure my team have all the training they need to enable them to make life for the children fun and challenging. I'm enthusiastic about developing every child's self esteem and abilities, regardless of any problems they may have. Our children are happy and well balanced, ready for the transition to school. 

 

During my spare time I enjoy socialising with friends and family, reading and enjoying days out.
